THE MIAMI NEWS Vol. 66, No. 225 Sunday, Jan. 7, 1962; p. 4B A DREAM OF THE FUTURE LETTERS TO THE EDITOR To The Editor: The article about the man who already had the plans for the metropolitan Miami of tomorrow was simply fascinating Unfortunately, as Mac Smith, editor of your Florida Living Magazine points out in the story, people are quick to brand creative individuals such as Jacque Fresco with names like crackpot, quack, radical, etc., before examining the facts. Even if we should never live to enjoy this marvelous Miami of Tomorrow, it was most interesting reading how it is going to be. WILLIAM F. NELSON, Miami * * *
To The Editor: Our instructor says he has yet to see a better report than "Science in 1980" which appeared last Sunday in The Miami News' Florida Living Magazine. It is a difficult and complicated subject to say the least. Jacque Fresco's article was superb. I feel, as does the instructor, that Mr. Fresco could continue along the same lines of thought in future articles. ALEX VERREAULT, Venice, Florida * * *
To The Editor: I enjoyed the article by Jacque Fresco. Let's have more by him. DICK STRASSBURGER, North Miami Beach |
